This is such a great antique French wooden trug. It is handmade and was used in the past to collect grapes in vineyard.
 
We love everything about it. The size, the colour of the wood and the sturdy handle is great too.
 
Use indoors to store or display objects, to store kindling by the fireplace, decorative tray on the coffee table or in the kitchen, magazine storage or fruit and veg basket. Alternatively, it could be used in the garden or would make an ideal gift for a keen gardener. Perfect for the farmhouse style or that country look.
 
Due to the nature and age, it is showing some wear and marking which adds to the character and does not affect use. The wood is rustic, but in good condition considering the age. There are some woodworms holes (treated). Overall in good vintage condition. Please see photos as these form part of the description.
