Lovely old marmalade pot.
This beautiful rustic pot would make a lovely display on your mantlepiece, shelf or table setting. Fill with sprigs of flowers or you could use it to store utensils or stationery.
Due to the nature and age of the piece, it is showing some wear and marking. This does not affect use and is watertight. Overall in good vintage condition. Please see photos as these form part of the description.
History: These pots were made by the Victorians for transporting goods. Each pot is unique, thrown by hand on the potter’s wheel and then fired using earthy glazes. The maker’s fingerprint can sometimes be seen set into the clay.
