This is such a simple, beautifully weathered vintage French matte bowl.
 
This was typical of Provencal kitchenware. The stoneware is heavy and thick, the inside of the bowl is glazed and exterior is matt and raw. It has a beautiful shape and colour. 
 
These are always very popular and can be used all round the house. Ideal for food serving and storage or as a display piece on a shelf or table.
 
Due to the nature and age, it is showing some wear and marking which adds to the character and does not affect use. Overall in good vintage condition. Please see photos as these form part of the description.
